Ooty (short for Udhagamandalam) is a resort town in the Western Ghats mountains, in southern India's Tamil Nadu state. Founded as a British Raj summer resort, it retains a working steam railway line. Other reminders of its colonial past include Stone House, a 19th-century residence, and the circa-1829 St. Stephen’s Church. Its 55-acre Government Botanical Garden lies on the slopes of Doddabetta Peak.

Departure Howrah Rly. Stn. By 12841 Up Coromandal Exp. at 3.30 pm. for Chennai Central.

Arrival to Chennai Central at 4.50 pm to board the train by12671 Up Nilagiri Exp. at 9.05 pm. for Metupalayam.

Arrival to Metupalayam at 6.15 am & transfer to Ooty. Arrival to Ooty & check-in (12.00 noon) to hotel. After lunch visit Ooty Local Sight Seeing (Botanical Garden & Ooty Lake).

Day : 4 Ooty

After Breakfast Visit Sim’s Park (Coonoor) & return to hotel. After lunch Visit Doddabetta Peak - the highest mountain in the Nilgiri Hills.

After breakfast departure Ooty for Mysore (125 kms.). Arrival to Mysore in the Afternoon.

After breakfast visit Mysore Local Sight Seeing (Chamundi Hills, Chamundeshwari Temple & Statue of Nandi-The bull, Mysore Maharaja Palace). Return to hotel for Lunch. After lunch visit Srirangaptna (Dariya Daulat Bag, Gumbaz, Tippu Fort) & Brindavan Garden. Return to Hotel in the afternoon.

After breakfast departure Mysore for Coorg (118 kms.) via a Golden Temple & Abbey Falls. Reached Coorg in the afternoon & check-in to hotel.

Coorg at 7.30 am Visit Dubare Elephant Camp. En route Lunch & visit Talakaveri (70km). Return to hotel.
